DuraCast and DuraWound Fiberglass Columns

Choose from 8" up to 30" in diameter
Each column comes standard with an architecturally correct Tuscan cap and base (Attic base is optional).
Impact resistant
Load-bearing capacity: 10,000 — 30,000 pounds

DuraLite Square Fiberglass Columns

Choose from 8", 10", or 12" square plain shafts.
Lengths are 8', 9', and 10" (12" is also available in 12' lengths).

Wood Columns
Their wood columns are available in finger-jointed kiln dried pine. The pine is treated with a wood preservative.

Colonial and Classical tapered columns are available with high-density polyurethane Tuscan caps and Roman Doric bases/plinths. These caps and bases are rot resistant, waterproof and impervious to insect infestation. Columns with a 22" diameter or greater are available with a fiberglass cap, base, and plinth. Wood caps and bases with aluminum plinths are available upon request. It is important to remember that the load-bearing capability of columns is dependent on the concentric loading of the column.

Decorative Capitals

Dixie-Pacific's decorative capitals are available in several styles manufactured from load bearing jesmonite, cast marble, and non-load bearing composition plaster (load bearing plug included). They are coated with a clear water-resistant material.

Styles include Roman Ionic, Greek Angular Ionic with or without necking, Modern Composite, Greek Erectheum with or without necking, Temple of Winds, Scamozzi, Roman Corinthian, Empire with or without necking.

Wood Porch Parts
Partly for function, partly for charm, wood porch parts are favorites with many homeowners.

Turned Porch Posts
Their posts line porches and foyers, create gazebos, or can be used as room dividers to develop the illusion of increased space.

Spindles
Dixie-Pacific's expertly crafted spindles are manufactured from clear, kiln-dried Western hemlock, beautiful under even the lightest stains. The turned areas on all their spindles are carefully sanded.

Newels
Dixie-Pacific's newel posts are made from clear or finger-jointed, kiln-dried Western hemlock. Their clear newels are suitable for staining or painting. They sand all turned areas to a smooth, even finish. Newel posts are shrink-wrapped for protection during shipping
